General Event Information

In 2024, the organization underwent a revitalization, with a new board and a program committee dedicated to create exciting events for our scandinavian community.

Every year in November there’s a Juldinner at Viking Hall with traditional Scandinavian Christmas food.

We organize a popular Lucia celebration every December, with a large group of children singing Lucia carols in Swedish.

We’re also organizing movie nights, and we have an Easter egg hunt and a Valborg celebration every year. We’ve also hosted culinary event such as aebleskiver and akvavit making at Viking Hall. We’re always interested in organizing events that are of interest to our Scandinavian community, so if you have an idea for an event please contact us at chairperson@scscandi.com.
